Ten years ago I created affirmations that work to fulfill my deepest desires.
I wrote down what I wanted and created affirmations around my desires to:
- Be self employed
- Own my own business
- Be mobile and work from anywhere in the world
- Control my own time
- Control my income
- Have no employees or team members
- Enrich, uplift and inspire every life I touch
- Have fun
- Love with great passion what I do everyday
Well, here I am living those desires. This is in no small part due to my own inner self talk using affirmations that work.

To affirm something means that you declare it to be true.
This is what you want to achieve when you do affirmations. You want to declare to your consciousness that what you are saying and hearing is true.
When your conscious mind hears and believes a message it passes it through to your subconscious mind (the greater part of you) and there the work takes place.
Affirmations are a wonderful, easy way to transform your negative thinking and negative results into positive thinking and positive results.
I use affirmations because there’s still a lot of the world’s population that tends to like dwelling on the negative. We, that is mass consciousness, started reversing that trend in late 2012.
I rarely watch or listen to the news and I never read the newspaper or any literature that doesn't uplift me in some way.
Don't worry, I don't miss out on major news stories - there's always someone that lets me know what's going on.
Many humans are on autopilot and feel it is their duty to warn people of the "dangers" in the world!
I notice that the more aligned I am to the goodness of the world., the less I encounter people who aren't. There's that Law of Attraction at work again!
So, that's why I use affirmations...to stay in alignment with the divinity of life.
When you offer a desire in an affirmation and FEEL the end result of that manifested desire you have the entire Universe at your feet.
Affirmations that work are those that are infused into your mindset, so much so, that they influence your manifestations.
This works from both negative and positive viewpoints. You want to ensure that you have affirmations that work to elicit positive experiences in your life.
I use affirmations on a daily basis and they have transformed every part of my life. My health, my relationships, my prosperity, my success...every aspect of my life has changed dramatically as a result of using affirmations and understanding how my conscious and subconscious minds harmonize.
Yes, they do. All affirmations work, even the ones you don't want to - which is the negative self talk.
When we make affirmations, whether they are positive or negative, they are subject to the Law of Attraction.
Basically this means that whatever thoughts you allow to fill your conscious mind will filter through to your subconscious mind and become your reality.
If you affirm something to yourself and believe it to be true, I assure you it works.
What we're all looking for are affirmations that work in the positive way we want them to.
Think about what you're trying to create in your life. You have the ability to create life exactly as you want it to be - believe that!
To program your subconscious mind into believing your affirmations, write them as if they are already true. For example, "I am feeling more prosperous every day" rather than "I want to feel more prosperous."
Keep your affirmations positive. For example, rather than saying "I don't want to feel sick anymore" say "I am feeling healthier every day." Focus on the positive.
I infuse affirmations into my consciousness to remind me of the Divine Intelligence within.
If you repeat an affirmation over and over again on a daily basis, with feeling and belief, it will manifest in your life.
If you catch yourself doubting something or feeling any type of negative emotion - jealousy, anger, fear...repeat your affirmation of choice until you feel calm again. This may be once or twice or many, many times.
I find it helps if I say my affirmations out loud, while I'm reading them, but this is a personal choice.
So long as your affirmations are positive and you are feeling and believing them, you are on the right track.
