A highly influential writer, publisher, attorney, and pioneer of the New Thought movement, William Walker Atkinson played a major role in shaping early teachings on mental power, personal success, and self-development.
After experiencing financial and personal difficulties, Atkinson reportedly used the principles of New Thought to rebuild his health and career. He later became a prolific author and editor, writing under his own name and several pseudonyms, including Yogi Ramacharaka and Theron Q. Dumont. His books explored subjects ranging from concentration and memory to personal magnetism, spiritual development, and the hidden powers of the mind.
One of his best-known books, Thought Vibration, explores the Law of Attraction and the idea that our thoughts are a form of vibrational energy, drawing people, experiences, and circumstances of a similar nature into our lives. Published in 1906, it remains one of the earliest and most influential books devoted specifically to the Law of Attraction.
