Welcome to our collection of free Christian D. Larson books, available here in PDF format.

Born in Iowa to Norwegian immigrant parents, Larson initially planned to enter the ministry, but instead chose to study Mental Science and eventually became one of the leading voices of the New Thought movement.

Best known for Your Forces and How to Use Them and The Optimist Creed, Larson was one of the most influential figures in the early New Thought movement. Historian Horatio Dresser credited him as one of the founders of the movement.

Although his work is often overshadowed by later authors such as Neville Goddard, Joseph Murphy, and Ernest Holmes, his emphasis on optimism and developing the "great within" laid important groundwork for much of the personal development literature that followed.

One of Larson's principal ideas was that every person possesses vast, largely untapped mental and spiritual abilities. He argued that success wasn't based on luck or privilege but on universal mental and spiritual laws that anyone could learn to apply.

Unlike many writers from the early 1900s, Larson's prose is clear, encouraging, and practical. His books feel surprisingly modern despite being written over 100 years ago.
