Welcome to our Free Think & Grow Rich page, inspired by Jerry Hicks' remarkable encounter with Napoleon Hill.
Here you'll discover inspiring quotes from Think and Grow Rich, along with a link to explore more of Napoleon Hill's books on success, prosperity, and the power of the mind.
Following are quotes from Napoleon Hill's classic success and personal development book Think & Grow Rich, first published in 1937.
Based on the principles Hill claimed to have learned from studying successful people, it covers concepts such as purpose, faith, autosuggestion, imagination, persistence, and the mastermind principle.
Despite its title, the book is not solely about becoming financially rich. Hill presents “riches” more broadly as creating the life you desire, which aligns many of its ideas with modern Law of Attraction teachings.

One day Esther Hicks went to Jerry and said, "You'll never believe this" and Jerry said, "What" and she said, "Napoleon Hill was just talking in my head and wants to talk to you."
Jerry and Esther went and sat in the back seat of their car and Napoleon Hill's energy came through Esther. Jerry asked Napoleon, "If you had it to do over again what would you do differently?" He said, "I would've told where I got the information." Jerry said, "Well, why didn't you?" And Napoleon said, "That would never have been published. They wouldn't publish that kind of material back then."
Jerry said he didn't pay a lot of attention to this 'meeting' and then one day when they were in Salt Lake City he went to the book store and in the self improvement section he found a chocolate colored book that he'd never seen before. He picked it up and it was Think and Grow Rich – the original manuscript before it was edited.
Jerry took his copy of the book and this newly found original manuscript and compared the two and highlighted every change. He said that anything in the original manuscript that inferred the word "vibration" was taken out. He said that anytime the book inferred that the author's knowledge came from the aethers or the essence or anywhere other than good solid physical facts it was edited out.
Napoleon Hill and success are synonymous. You can find the five books listed below on our page dedicated to Napoleon Hill.
